Wrapping time in leather – my very first product on Shopify.
Hello, I'm Mami from MamiMade.
I'd like to quietly introduce something I’ve been working on —
my very first product published on Shopify.
This is a handmade leather case for a pocket watch,
secured with an antique-style brass clasp.
Each one is hand-stitched in a small workshop in Fukuoka, Japan.
The outer leather is vegetable-tanned cowhide.
The inner lining is soft pig suede, available in Red, Black, Brown, or Yamabuki (golden yellow).
In a world of smartphones, a pocket watch might feel unusual.
But I admire those who choose to carry time with care.

今日は、初めてShopifyに掲載した新作についてご紹介させてください。
この懐中時計ケースは、真鍮の差し込み錠がついたレザーケースです。
手縫いで、ひとつずつ、福岡の小さな工房で仕立てています。
外装の革は、植物タンニンなめしの牛革。
内張りは豚スエードで、赤・黒・茶・山吹の4色から選べます。
スマートフォンの時代に「懐中時計？」と不思議に思われるかもしれません。
でも私は、そんな風に時間を「大切に持ち歩く人」が好きです。
